Top-down crochet makes it easy to adjust to your personal size; notes for that are given in the pattern. I use RHSS for the firmness, but it should work fine with other worsted weight yarns.

No fancy stitches, just regular slip, sc, hdc, dc; with increases.

I stuff most of the hat peaks with stiff tulle to hold their shape, but if you like it “floppy”, you don’t have to add it.

The hat wire is also optional. The brown hat in the pictures has no stuffing and no wire in the brim.
