The sweater is knit flat, in four pieces from the bottom up. The back is knit first, then the front, then both of the arms. Next will be the ribbing for the neck and seaming the sweater pieces together.

Gauge: 18st x 24 rws = 4” in stockinette using sz 8 (5mm) needles
4.5st x 6 rws = 1”

Materials: Straight or circular knitting needles size 7 (4.5mm) and size 8 (5mm). Worsted weight category 4 yarn. I used Loops and Threads Baby Rainbow. Similar yarns that would work are Lion Brand Feels like Butta, Bernat Bundle Up, or Yarn Bee Breathe Deep. You are welcome to use whichever yarn that will match the gauge.

Sizing: The sweater is meant to be oversized and loose wearing. The positive ease in the sleeves and body of the sweater, make this a one size fits most pattern. It fits from an extra small to an extra large. The sweater is also cropped for a 19” length. If you would like your finished sweater to be shorter or longer, you can adjust the amount of rows on the front and back body pieces.
