When I was young, my mother made me a linen shift dress with a square neckline. Ever since then I wanted a knitted top with a square neck. I love square necklines, and now they are on all the fashion runways.

I made this top to go with the maxi skirt that I have - and the colour is just perfect. I made the same top for my friend, but in brown colour and longer.

If you want to make a longer top, just extend the length from the underarms down, and make sure to have enough yarn.

I’m a European size 40/42 or US 10/12, and this pattern only comes in this size.
