Introducing CROSS HATCH, a new versatile garment pattern from Skacel. Knit with 3 skeins of Schulana Kid-Seta or Kid-Seta Lux, using Addi’s signature size 10.75 needles, Cross Hatch can be worn by women of all sizes and shapes. It is suitable for Advanced Beginner knitters.

The garment is a rectangle, measuring 18” x 80” in a drop-stitch cable and garter pattern. The cross hatch detail allows the shine of the silk to stand out from the sheer halo of mohair, evoking the subtle shading created in pen-and-ink drawings. As is, Cross Hatch is a beautiful, lightweight stole to wear on those cool evenings.

The real magic happens when you make a clever Y-shaped seam to fashion the armholes. Now you can choose how to wear this sleeveless jacket: with tuxedo cutaway styling, or a swing vest with vertical lines (you decide how wide or pleated to arrange the lapels), or draped with a hankerchief neckline and fastened at the shoulder with a shawl pin.
