This striking scarf is made using a criss-cross stitch shows off handpainted yarns with short color repeats to advantage. The all-over garter stitch pattern makes this an easy piece to knit, once you’ve mastered the 2 pattern rows that make up the cross overs.

Gauge is not important.

This is now written in two sizes, a narrow version using just one 190-yd skein, and an average size that uses approximately 320 yards.

The finished size of the narrow scarf is 4” x 62”. The average size is 5” x 72”.
