The Houndstooth set is made with stranded colorwork, two strands in different colors. It is charted and easy to follow. This is an easy pattern if you are just starting out with stranded knitting. The colorwork pattern starts immediately after the ribbing and is carried all the way through the decreases, giving the top of the hat a beautiful and unique look.
