This one size fits all cape looks complicated because of the cross stitch, but it’s really not! So easy to learn the stitch (instructions included), and it is great for a first clothing pattern for anyone to try!

Warm and cozy for all kinds of outdoor activity - great as a wrap for those cool nights at the football game, or just for sitting around the fire pit.

It is worked all in one piece with a U.S. Size I hook, then a crab stitch border (also easy and instructions included) is worked all the way around the edge.

There are cord ties (instructions included on how to make these also) for arm closures, and for the front of the cape - so it’s completely adjustable!

The actual measurements are:
Shoulder to Bottom Edge (front & back): 49.5 inches
Shoulder to Neck: 13 inches
Neck Opening in Front: 10 inches
Left Shoulder to Right Shoulder Across Back: 36 inches
Front Bottom Edge to Back Bottom Edge: 99 inches

The Hobby Lobby Brand is so soft, and I chose Autumn Stripe for the color as I absolutely LOVED it. You can use any 4-ply yarn you like (13 skeins) but I do recommend a softer 4-ply such as Hobby Lobby or Red Heart with Love.

You can also try working this cape all in white, and add a border of SC fun fur all around for more of a “snow queen” look. How fun for winter months!

I hope you enjoy this pattern, and thank you for buying it!
