I wanted to create a simple sweater with a nice flattering shape that would be appropriate to wear throughout the year. Though this top is cropped, it provides a lot of coverage. You can also add rows to make it a little more modest!

The crossed double crochets at the bottom are just a result of me getting carried away with a few stitch books! When I see a stitch I like, I want to incorporate it in a new pattern ASAP - and thus the “crossed” part of this shirt was born. If you don’t know how to do this stitch, I’ve included a video tutorial in the pattern notes to help you out.
