Crosshatch
All-over slipped-stitch cabled pattern that will break up pooling in handpainted or variegated yarns.
It is written in 2 sizes (8” and 9” circumference) with a short-row heel, but you could easily swap in your favorite flap and gusset heel (just work it over 50% of the stitches).
May use a cable needle if desired.
