Crossing posts is a great way to dip into and learn how post stitches work and what their effects are. Don’t be afraid to sample these post stitches. The pattern is easy to remember and goes fairly quickly.

Gauge isn’t that important for scarves. I do like to include finished sample size after blocking because I don’t want you to worry so much about the size as you are working, just want you to enjoy the process.
