This hat is very easy to make using worsted weight (4) yarn.

You can crochet it with or without a turn-up for all seasons. Instructions are given for both.

You can use Acrylic yarn or wool-rich yarn for colder weather.

Instructions included to make cross-stitch and the pattern includes single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, slip stitches and working in the back loop only.

Hooks needed are 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, depending on which size you are making.

It uses less than one skein of yarn, and crochets up very quickly.
