Crow Prints Shawl
No longer available.
The pattern is now available in Italian, thanks to those who did that. It can be found here. You will need to register with a valid email, but registration is free (confirmed by email).
If you would like to sell any finished object made from this pattern--please do. I do not mind at all. Copyright only protects my pattern, not the resulting finished object. (I would love if you mention that I wrote the pattern if someone asks, but, again, not necessary.)
Update August 10th--An updated .pdf is now available for download. Please make sure you have crowprintsshawl1_3 prior to notifying me of errors. An extra purl stitch in the charts has been removed, and a word was changed in instructions for the written portion in order to try and add clarity.
Update: Version 1.2 is now the most current version of the .pdf, with all corrections listed below in the file.
Update: Row 21 of the written instructions is currently incorrect. It SHOULD read as follows:
Row 21: K2, *YO, K1, SKP, YO, K1, YO, K2tog, YO, K2, K2tog, SKP, K2, YO, SKP, YO, K1, YO, K2tog,
YO, K2, K2tog, SKP, K2, YO, SKP, YO, K1,YO, K2tog, K1, YO *, K1, repeat from * to , K2
The pdf will be updated within the next day.
Update april 12th--Row 3 has been entirely corrected in the newest .pdf, including the k1 for the central stitch that was missing.
UPDATE: It was kindly brought to my attention that row 3 of the set up instructions is incorrect. I apologize to everyone, I copied the wrong set-up chart when writing the instructions.
Row 3 should read:
k2, [yo, k1, yo, skp, yo, k3, yo, k2tog, yo, k1, yo] k1, repeat instructions in brackets, k2
5:44pm : .pdf file Crow Prints Shawl v.01 has the NEARLY correct row. It’s missing the k1 after the brackets, which is the center stitch. Sorry again folks.
A simple triangular shawl from the neck down. Inspired by the coming of spring and the leaving of the winter crow, I tried to capture a bit of one of my favourite birds in a shawl for a friend.
This pattern is both written and charted.
