A cable-berry detail provides a pretty interest to this elegant light-weight cardigan. Suitable to wear in spring and on cool summer evenings, it has three-quarter length sleeves and hourglass shaping to provide a flattering fit. This simple reverse stocking stitch knit uses a top-down raglan construction with eyelet holes for increases in the yoke and features an i-cord edging with button holes. Sleeves are knitted in the round on the wrong side for ease with an i-cord cuff.
The berry pattern has both charted and written instructions. This cardigan is knit in one piece from the top down. The body of the cardigan is knitted flat and the sleeves are knitted in the round.
Crowberries are pretty evergreen shrubs that can be found on the Pennine Moors. They bear dark purple edible berries and have glossy green leaves.
This pattern also includes instructions for a two coloured version.
