This is a seven page pdf file with instructions to make this warm and beautiful cowl that can be worn as a hood or neck scarf. This cowl is made with (chunky weight) thick, soft acrylic yarn and edged with a row of stars on either end.

The matching gloves are also adorned with stars around the wrists and feature one large star in the center of each glove.

The instructions Include photo tutorials on how to make the star stitches, and how to work an sc in the back post to create a raised sc ridge.

This Star Stitch or Marguerite Stitch (smaller stars at the sides and larger in the middle to shape the headband) is a beautiful addition to any crochet library. It can be used for shawls and sweaters or as a panel stitch for purses and hats. A photo tutorial in the pattern takes you step by step to master this stitch.

Also, many of my customers who have not used the Star Stitch before have found this video helpful: Crochet Geek - Crochet Star Stitch www.youtube.com/watch?v=Voo3D3l_mpE

It is a little different version (there are many versions) - but still the basic stitch I’m using. If you feel you can do this stitch then this is a project for you!

The pattern is written using US Crochet standard terms. You are free to make and sell anything from any of the patterns in my shop. Just don’t resell the original pattern, please.

Happy Crocheting!
