The Cruel Summer Top is a beginner friendly pattern.
It is knitted in the round with the magic loop method and then flat on the front where you work a V neckline.
The straps are made with the i-cord technique and cross at the back.

In the pattern there are instructions on how to work the color change (to make it like the model one) by holding two strands together. However, the top can be knit in one single strand of any yarn that meets gauge.

Materials you’ll need:
1 (2) 2 (3) 3 skeins of DK (worsted weight) yarn (100grs) to be held double.
4.5mm (US7)circular needles
5mm (US8) circular needles
40cm cable
Stitch markers
Scissors and tapestry needle

Measurements (the top is designed to have approximately 18cm/7’’ of negative ease)
