The Crystal Lattice Shawl is worked from one corner up, starting with an i-cord edge, followed by a helix pattern that makes up the right edge. The majority of the shawl is then made of a crystal lattice lace pattern. The left-hand edge is worked as a stretchy edge through the addition of a yarn over, which is dropped again in the next row.

Working from the corner up means that there are no size restrictions. If you would like your wrap to be smaller or larger, then you can stop after any of the 24-row pattern repeats that give you the desired size; just ensure you have sufficient yarn left for the bind-off, which is worked as a yarn over bind-off.

The pattern was designed using lace weight yarn, but a heavier weight yarn, such as fingering weight, will work just as well, resulting in a warmer version of the Chrystal Lattice Shawl.

The sample shown in the photos was knit using Malabrigo Baby Silkpaca Lace in 150 Azul Profundo.

For ease of use, this pattern contains charts in addition to written instructions for each segment of the pattern.
