This lap blanket is composed of 12-11 1/2” squares, using 2 different types of yarn. The crystal pattern is made with a simple cable technique whereby all the cables are connected together. You DO NOT NEED A CABLE NEEDLE! If you’ve never tried simple cables and traveling stitches without a cable needle this is a great pattern in which to learn. (Included is a wonderful link from Rebecca Osborn.) There are two charts in this pattern, one being the mirror image of the other.
