Crystalized is a modern, textured, crescent shaped shawl. The texture on the body of the shawl is created by an all over repeat lace pattern that is finished off with a garter stitch edge. The garter stitch edge is shaped using short rows which echoes the main body of the shawl. An Icelandic bind off helps create a final extra touch to the border. Optional pom-poms add a bit of whimsy to this cozy accessory. Crystalized is knitted with the gorgeous Nurtured by Julie Asselin which is an incredibly warm rustic yarn. These fibers are dyed before it is spun resulting in all the different layers of colors blending beautifully together. After blocking, this yarn blooms highlighting the beauty and nuances of the different colored layers in the 3ply construction. Please read over the pattern carefully prior to knitting your very own Crystalized shawl. Enjoy!
