CS047 toblerone
A PRETTY ADDITION TO ANY LITTLE GIRLS WARDROBE
Toblerone is ready for the party and the sand box too. After the bodice is completed the skirt section is picked-up and knit downward on a circular needle, allowing you to choose the finished length. Work a very short skirt section and have an adorable sweater with a peplum.

- Knitting on circular needle

- Make one (M!)
Regardless of their age babies and children’s actual body measurements vary. It is helpful to use the FINISHED GARMENT MEASUREMENTS, in the chart below, which refers to this specific garment only. It can help you choose the size you prefer.
YARN USED FOR SAMPLE
Brown Sheep Company—Cotton Fine
- 80% Pima Cotton—20% Merino Wool
- 1.75 ounces-(50 grams)—222 yards-(203 cm) each
- 4(4 – 5 - 6) pull skeins
For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.
SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZES
- Size 6-(4 mm) straight needles or needles to obtain the correct gauge
- Size 6-(4 mm) circular needle, 24 inches-(61 cm) long
- Size 6-(4 mm) circular needle, 16 inches-(40.5 cm) long for neck
NOTIONS
- Gauge ruler - Tapestry needle
- Tracking sheet - Buttons size .5 inch–(12.5 cm)
- Four size 6-(4 mm) or smaller double-pointed needles
- Three stitch holders
GAUGE
- 23 stitches x 30 rows = 4 inches-(10 mm) in stockinette stitch on size 6-(4 mm) needles
Why is the gauge listed in stockinette? Patterns usually measure gauge in stockinette because the designer is assuming that if you can match their gauge in stockinette, then you’ll be able to match gauge in the pattern’s specific stitch. Plus, it’s also a lot easier to measure stitches and rows on stockinette than on a more complicated stitch pattern. Less room for a miscount that way.
