DESIGN DETAILS
- Round neck pullover with classic thermal shirt styling, including the
V motif at the center front neck

• Tiny Bamboo Stitch resembles thermal look of a favorite comfy shirt
• Long sleeves
• Raglan armholes
• An optional short placket, with one button at the top of back left raglan seam for ease slipping the pullover over a baby’s head
• Relaxed fit

TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS DESIGN

• Cast-on
• Bind-off
• Decreasing ssk and k2tog
• Increasing m1R and m1L
• k1, p1 ribbing
• Yarn overs
• Overcast v-motif to front before picking-up and knitting neckband
• Weaving row to row
• Weaving stitch to stitch
• Pick-up and knit neckband

YARN USED FOR SAMPLE

• Yarn Bee—Yarntopia
• 100% Acrylic
• 312 yards-(285 meters)—4 ounce-(113 grams)
• 2(2—3—3—3—4) skeins

For this pullover to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

FOR A SUBSTITUTE YARN

SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZES
- size 3 and 5 needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge

NOTIONS

• Gauge ruler
• Tracking sheets-one general one to use for all sizes to keep track of your rows from cast-on to beginning of raglan armhole and separate tracking sheets for each size for raglan shaping and sleeves.
• Yarn markers use a strand of thin cotton (number 10 crochet thread is great to use as yarn markers) in a
  contrasting color
• Tapestry needle
• Matching sewing thread (only used to sew the V motif in place)
• One button size .5 mm

GAUGE
- Blocked—25 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm) in Tiny
Bamboo Stitch on size 5-(3.75) needles
