Comments and processes covered in this pattern are intended as a starting point to follow, for which I have had success, in making felted bootie slippers on the CSM. These instructions are based on samples made on a Legare 400 using big hook cylinder needles.

Any size can be made by adjusting the number of rows knit and repeating the felting process until the desired size is achieved.

Any 100% non-superwash wool in worsted weight can be used.

Felting is not a precise nor easily prescribed process. Since different equipment, water temperature, etc. will be used by others, the felting process I used, as described in the pattern, may need to be adjusted to achieve the desired end result.
