CSM - Hexagons
This is a circular sock knitting machine pattern. ‘Hexagons on the Circular Sock Machine’ is a great project to stash bust all that leftover sock yarn from other projects.
Finished hexagons can be joined together to make any number of items - a scarf, blanket/afghan/lap robe, sweater, vest, poncho, bag, pillow cover, hat, headband/ear warmers -- to name a few. The only limitation is your imagination and the size of your stash of sock yarn leftovers. I do not provide an image of a specific project/product because the sole purpose is to provide instructions on how to make a hexagon and suggestions on a few ideas for designing whatever you want with them.
Hexagons can be made on any size cylinder. Gauge is not required; however, consistency in size and tension is recommended. A ribber is not needed.
Skill level is intermediate with experience in working on only half of the cylinder needles.
