This small heart (about 3 1/2” by 4 1/2”) is a surprise with its metal snap closure turning it into the cutest pocket ever! It is fun to use to give someone with a treat inside: a gift card or a piece of candy, a love note or a coin. It could be used as a coin purse, too.
An alternate closure using a simple snap works, too. A simple split hung hem makes it work.
You may send a little love anytime of the year, but it would be especially fun on Valentine’s Day!
It is knit on a Circular Sock Machine. The pattern is for a 60 needle cylinder, but size is not that important. It uses a small amount of sock yarn, about 15 grams. The closure is 95 mm metal clip found on line, 20 for less than $10.00.
