This is an intermediate skill level pattern. This pattern includes 4 different styles of Cthulhu to create. This comprehensive pattern is almost 30 pages long with detailed instructions and 25+ photos!

Materials:
You will need scissors, stitch marker, polyfill stuffing, tapestry needle, 18.00 mm safety eyes, fabric/hot glue, 2.25 mm crochet hook, 3.00 mm crochet hook, sewing pins, and worsted weight yarn.

Let’s talk yarn!
You will need 200 yards of worsted weight yarn if you would like to make your Cthulhu a solid color. I made my Cthulhu’s is various colors and brands of worsted weight yarn. I used Mainstay Basic yarn in the colors green and gray. I also used Red Heart Super Saver in Medium Thyme and Warm Brown. Finally, I used I LOVE THIS yarn in the colors Blossmopolis and Spring Green.

Abbreviations:
Ch: chain
Sl st: slip stitch
Sc: single crochet
Sc inc: single crochet increase
Sc dec: single crochet decrease
Hdc: half double crochet
Blo: back loops only
