A detailed representation of H P Lovecraft’s mythical creature Cthulhu, knitted mostly in reverse stocking (stockinette) stitch. The toy measures approximately 10in/26cm tall.

Materials needed: 50g of green double-knitting weight yarn; oddments of bright red, black and cream double-knitting weight yarn; oddments of green and/or brown yarn in varying weights and colours (optional); 1 pair 3mm needles; 2 double-pointed 3mm needles; wool needle for sewing up; polyester toy filling.
