Experience Level: Beginner

The Cube Blanket is a great beginner project that uses different knit and purl stitch patterns to create textural interest. Stitches in this baby blanket include seed, stockinette, garter, and double moss. Chunky weight yarn and changing patterns to pique the knitter’s interest ensure that this will be a quick knit. The Cube Blanket looks best in solid, subtle multicolor, or tonal yarns. While the Cube Blanket is not identical on the wrong side, the back looks just as beautiful as the front and can be used with either side showing.
