Here’s a handy tote that will not only teach you a few new tricks, but also help you solve the problem of what to do with a couple of odd balls of acrylic you might have rolling around in your stash.

This tote requires only 2 x 100 gram balls of 3 weight acrylic, and when you hold the two together, you end up with a tote that is sturdy and holds up under its own weight. So have fun using either 2 balls of the same color, or 2 colors that look good mixed together.

The stitch is also important here - actually the whole tote is comprised of nothing more than a bunch of very small motifs (mini wheels) that are worked continuously and joined-as-you-go. To get this to work you will be using Breakaway Crochet techniques and following a very fascinating sequence, so it comes HOTH with nothing more to do except sewing in the literally 2 yarn tails.

Use this tote as a project bag, yarn storage, produce bag, or as a catch all (it fits very nicely on a Billy bookcase shelf!).
