Cuddle Monster Ragdoll
Meet the Monster!
This is Lewis the Cuddle Monster he lives in 1995 and thrives on a diet of Kool-Aid Jammers and misplaced Valentine’s Day cards. I found him in this radical worm hole that totally exists in my mailbox.
Notes:
This would be considered an intermediate skill level pattern. It is made entirely by single crochet, but you must have a clear understanding of single crochet increase/decrease. This is a lengthy pattern, so I have included a notes section before each new task. Happy Hooking!
Materials:
You will need yarn, 3.50 mm crochet hook, 2.50 mm crochet hook, stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, 14.00 mm safety eye, and poly-fill for stuffing. Optionally you may need moldable plastic to
make the teeth!
Let’s talk about yarn!
You will need #4 worsted weight yarn for this pattern. I used Red Heart Super Saver Retro Stripe for the body, arms, legs, and eyelid. I used Lion Brand Feels Like Butta yarn in white for the eye. Feel free to make your monster any color if you are using #4 worsted weight yarn.
Other Important information!
This monster is made in the ragdoll style. This means you will be making two different panels and then single crocheting them together to create your finished project! To make the teeth of my monster I used Instamorph Moldable Plastic. It is easy to use, super strong, and nontoxic. This is where I purchased it! https://www.amazon.com/InstaMorph-Moldable-Plastic-6-
oz/dp/B004MFLU4Y/ Here is a useful YouTube video showing you how to use the moldable plastic! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfBOiUFcf24/

Gauge:
Gauge is not extremely important for this pattern. You just want your stitches to be tight enough that poly-fill won’t poke out!
