This sock pattern is knit cuff down but could easily be modified to work toe up. It is a classic worsted sock that is not only pleasing to the eye but knits up quickly.

Materials

100 - 150 yards (90 - 140 m) of your favorite worsted weight yarn.
US Size 5 (3.75 mm) DPSNs or circular needles in length necessary for preferred method of sock knitting
1 progress keeper (optional) and 2 stitch markers (also optional)
Darning needle for weaving in ends

Finished measurements:
Small: 7 inches (17.8 cm) in circumference, to fit 8 inch (20.3 cm) foot
Medium: 8 inches (20.3 cm) in circumference, to fit 9 inch (22.8 cm) foot
Large: 9 inches (22.9 cm) in circumference, to fit 10 inch (25.4 cm) foot

Gauge:
5 sts in stockinette stitch = 1” (2.5 cm)
