Warm and scrunchy, perfect for walks on the beach or toasting marshmallows over a bonfire, who wouldn’t want a Cuddly Fisherman hugging their waist or draped around their shoulders?
Designed to be both fitted and comfortable, this raglan-sleeved sweater has a tapered waistline. It uses the Fisherman’s Rib stitch pattern, which involves knitting into the stitch below. To maintain the natural stretchiness of the stitch pattern, this pullover uses an Alternating Cast On, a Tubular Bind Off for the neckband, and Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off elsewhere. For more information about these techniques, see the links in the Special Techniques section below. Other techniques include mirrored double decreases, double increases, and picking up stitches along a neckline. All pieces are knit flat and seamed except for the crew neck neckband, which is knit in the round.
