This pattern is made up of the various methods I use to make my top/cuff down vanilla socks.

Stitch counts include those for 64 (using 2.5mm) and 72 (using 2.25mm) cast on, using the magic loop method. Some alterations can be made to stitch counts using the minimal math provided.

Three heels are suggested:

  • simple heel flap and gusset
  • modified eye of partridge heel flap and gusset
  • short row heel (Fish Lips Kiss)

Any 100g skein of fingering weight sock yarn can be used. Contrast cuffs, heels, and toes are also an option.
