The colour of this soft grey scarf and the stitch motif brought to mind grey doves, and so the scarf is named Culferan which is Old English for dove. This scarf was created at the request of a friend. I found this stitch motif and saw it looked good on both sides (though not identical) and thought it would make a cozy scarf.

Approximate yardage est. 255 g / 9 oz. (521 m / 570 yds)

Yarn - Bernat Cozy Style 928m / 454g (1015 yds / 16 oz), 1 ball. Colour 80020 Soft Gray. Any currently available Worsted (#4) yarn with similar yardage may be substituted.

Needles - US 8 (5 mm) circular, 24″ / 60 cm long. Straight needles may be used – 14” or longer recommended due to width of scarf.
