Description

Culli ^{(S and L)} is a cowl pattern with a cable and moss design, to get warm and comfy despite the cold weather.
The pattern provides charts + written instructions, as well as two reading rhythms (advanced + expert).
Video tutorials will help you to get the best out of your project!

Construction

Culli is a seamless bottom-up cowl, to knit in the round.

Gauge

34x36 in pattern
Gauge is not so important in height but it is in circumference to feel comfortable. The pattern provides a swatch chart to knit before knitting the cowl.

Sizes

The pattern provides 2 sizes: S and L
S: 46 cm circumference x 29 cm height – 18 inch. circumference x 11.5 inch. height

L: 57 cm circumference x 33 cm height – 22.5 inch. circumference x 13 inch. height

You can mix and match a small circumference and a large height, as the presentation model does, or a large circumference and a small height as well.

The large height includes a vertical center chart different from the bottom and the upper ones (which are the same), while the small height only contains the first chart repeated twice.
There will be later matching hat, mittens and legwarmers, alltogether containing only the first chart (so the longest version shown is like a variation of the original design, while the smallest sticks to it).

Yarn & Yardage

1 skein of Symbolisme Les Caspérides (50% non superwash merino, 50% silk, 400m-437 y./100g) or 1 skein (2 balls) of sock yarn.

The presentation model is knit in the colour Létan and uses about 80g (320m/350 y.)

Needles

3 mm / US 2 1/2 for the body and 2,5 mm / US 1 1/2 for the ribbing

1 BORmarker + 3/4 markers + 1 tapestry or cable needle

Culli ^{(S et L)} est un tour de cou texturé avec un motif de torsades pour vous tenir chaud dans le froid de l’automne.
Le patron comprend les diagrammes + les explications rang par rang pour le réaliser, ainsi que deux vitesses de lecture (débutant.e.s + expert.e.s).

Construction

Culli se construit sans couture, du bas vers le haut, en rond.

Échantillon

34x36 en suivant le motif
L’échantillon n’est pas très important en hauteur mais il l’est en circonférence, pour se sentir à l’aise. Le patron fournit un diagramme et ses explications pour tricoter l’échantillon.

Tailles

Le patron propose deux tailles : S et L.
S: 46 cm de circonférence x 29 cm de haut

L: 57 cm de circonférence x 33 cm de haut

Vous pouvez opter pour la circonférence de la taille S et la hauteur de la taille L, comme le fait le modèle de présentation, ou pour la plus grande circonférence avec la plus petite hauteur.

La hauteur L inclut un motif verticalement centré qui n’existe pas dans la hauteur S.
Un bonnet, des mitaines et des guêtres contenant uniquement le premier motif sortiront cet automne, ce qui fait de la version L une variation du motif original, quand la version S lui est plus fidèle.

Laine et métrage

1 écheveau de Symbolisme Les Caspérides (50% mérino non superwash, 50% soie, 400m/100g) ou 1 écheveau (2 pelotes) de fingering

Le modèle de présentation est tricoté dans la couleur Létan et a nécessité environ 80g (320m)

Aiguilles

3 mm pour le corps et 2,5 mm pour les côtes, ou toutes autres aiguilles vous permettant d’obtenir l’échantillon

Matériel
