Sweet little cupcakes for Valentine’s Day or any day you need a little something sweet!

Easily can be made in colors to be special for any holiday.

The applique look great on hair clips, hats, purses and many other crafts.

Finished size using size H/5mm hook and worsted weight yarn:

Approx. 2 ¼ inches across by 1 ¾ inches tall

Pattern is ranked advanced beginner to intermediate and uses the following stitches: single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch. For the optional heart embellishment, you will need to know how to make an adjustable ring.

There are several detailed pictures in this pattern to help those who need to see examples. I am a visual learner and just have to see it sometimes to understand.
