These simple cupcakes can be made in any size. The hat is worked in a spiral from the top down with the brim being added at the end. When you’ve finished your cupcake you can leave it plain or decorate it how ever you like. Sew some beads on for sprinkles, add a cherry on top or a motif like a heart or a butterfly.
You are welcome to sell the items you make with this pattern, but please give me, Krazy Kabbage, a mention in your sales listing and provide a link to my website www.krazykabbage.com.
I used Red Heart Super Saver (medium weight; 100% acrylic) in Minty, Orchid or Petal Pink with Buff for the brim.
You will need crochet hook sizes I/9 – 5.50mm and H/8 – 5.00mm
If you use a different yarn – Use the hook size recommended on your yarn for the top part of the hat. Go down a hook size for the brim.
