These countdown cupcakes are great fun and can be used to add excitement in the build up to special occasions. Each cupcake is a little pocket closed with a bead or button, so you can pop a surprise into each and open one a day. This idea works perfectly as an advent calendar up to Christmas, a countdown to a birthday, holiday or other special event, or it could be used as a kind of ‘star chart’ reward system for a child to encourage certain tasks and make them more do-able as they get a little reward for encouragement. What a fun way to get a surprise… inside a cupcake pocket!
