As our household wildly anticipate the return of the Great British Bake Off I designed a crochet version of the esteemed cupcake with one of my favourite techniques, colour work crochet. Using the intarsia method when working these charts gives a smooth, clean effect.

This pattern is written in US terms and is worked in single crochet.

I used Debbie Bliss Eco Baby in pebble, aqua, apple, rose and white and a 3mm hook.
