This easy to follow crochet teapot cosy pattern will bring together that love of a good cup of tea with a tasty cake too!

The pattern is designed with crochet beginners in mind and uses basic crochet stitches to create this fun crochet cupcake teapot cozy with the cherry on top.

It features a photo tutorial and a video tutorial for the ribbed stitches used to create the cake case.

The use of the wadding between the layers of the tea cozy create an insulated teapot cozy that will keep every drop as warm as the first.

The pattern also includes instructions on how to adjust the pattern to fit a differently shaped tea pot but is written for a standard 6 cup teapot.

I truly believe there is nothing more comforting than a good cup of tea - it really can solve all your problems, and this teapot cosy will make teatime a little more special!

Finished Size
One Size - to fit a standard 6 cup tea pot with details on how to make it fit longer teapots.

Materials Needed

Worsted/Aran weight yarn in 3 colours. I used Brava Worsted Weight, 100% Acrylic (218yrds/100g)
Colour 1: Brindle 400 yds
Colour 2: Blush 150 yds
Colour 3: Red 30 yds
scrap bulky yarn for sprinkes in 4 colours
4mm Crochet Hook
Polyester wadding up to 1cm thick
small amount of fibre fill
Scissors
