Cupcake Top
Soft ruffles, easy-wear sport-weight yarn, and a cinch-it-your-way neckline—this tee begins at the waistband and is worked upward, so you can pause, try it on, and adjust the body or sleeve length as you go. Once the crocheting’s done, weave in the drawstring around the shoulders; it lets you tighten the neckline after wear and keeps it from stretching out over time. Pair it with the Mini Cupcake Skirt or your favorite jeans for a pop of color. If you know the basic stitches and want to try a fun herringbone texture, you’re ready.

Notes
This pattern includes a full video tutorial designed to clarify any techniques or steps that are better demonstrated visually than explained in writing.
You will start by crocheting the waistband and joining the ends to form a circle. Then, work the body upward until you reach your desired length. After fastening off, you will crochet the sleeves separately and attach them to the body, adding a ruffle on the shoulders. You will finish by making a drawstring to weave through the shoulders.
The pattern includes instructions for customizing the top length, sleeve length, and shoulder circumference to suit your fit and style.
Ch 2 doesn’t count as a stitch.
