Cupcakes
These pretty little cupcakes are really easy to knit with oddments of dk yarn.
When I designed them I used Sirdar Calico but this has been discontinued so a good alternative is Rowan cotton glacé although any dk yarn will do.
They are knitted flat with 3.25 mm needles and seamed.
Instructions are included on how to knit the flower and the cherries, you will need a pair of 2.75mm needles for this.
When finished each cake measures about 2.5 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height.
You will need
Dk yarn
A pair of 3.25mm straight needles
A pair of 2.75mm needles for the decorative elements
Sewing needle
Toy stuffing
Beads (optional)
