The Cuppa Tweed Beanie was inspired by a vintage mug in my collection. If you like the look of colorwork but don’t feel like doing it for an entire hat, this is the hat for you! I love the colorblock effect of the wide stripes. Of course, it’s not necessary to use a tweed, but I love the texture it gives the hat.

Hat comes in one size and was written to fit head size from 21 to 22.5 inches, but the little bit of slouch is forgiving.

Needles:
Size 3.5 mm (US size 4) 16” circular needles
Size 4 mm (US size 6) 16” circular needles
Size 4 mm DPNs for decreasing the top of hat (or magic loop).

Approximate yardage needed for each color:
Color 1: Approximately 52 yards/47.5 meters
Color 2: Approximately 60 yards/54.9 meters
Color 3: Approximately 30 yards/27.4 meters
