Cuppycake Patch or Pocket
This pattern makes a pocket sized cupcake you can place wherever you like. Repurpose the chart as a design element on sweaters or dishcloths, or as you see I’ve done, use it to make a cute patch for children’s clothing. I once used it
to make a double knit potholder. The only limits are your imagination, so add a little sweetness to your life wherever you think it’s needed most!
Pattern includes 5 pages, including title page, sizing info, written set up instructions, and a full color chart. There are no written line-by-line instructions for the chart, but the chart takes up nearly a full page and is easy to read or further enlarge for those who need large print. All the relevant instructions for what is shown in the images (set up and chart) is contained on one page (page 3) for those who like to work from printed patterns.
Gauge is not critical for this project, so gauge info is not provided, but for a sense of scale, the sample measures 3 inches square and was knit with a mix of worsted and aran weight yarns. Depending on your comfort level, this can be worked using either stranded, intarsia, or a mix of the two.
