This monkey is an ode to Curious George, and a great excuse to use a hand dyed, self-striping yarn like Turtlepurl’s Turtletoes. This curious little monkey is also pretty cute knit in a solid colour too. He is knit in rounds from the top of his head down all in one piece (except for the ears). The tail is created using the “after thought” technique often used for mittens and socks. Decorating with a hand stitched face on wool felt gives this little guy lots of personality.
