Curium
Did you know? The Greek key (or Meander) is not only a visually stunning pattern. Historically, it’s also been consistently used as a decorative symbol representing infinity and never-ending love or devotion. It’s a pattern that I find fascinating and holds a special place in my heart, so I knew I needed to find a way to incorporate it into a knitting design at some point. And, here we are… a new sock pattern that I hope you will love for eternity.
The pattern is written for working toe up. You will be working mostly stockinette stitch in the round, with two separate sections of 2-colour stranded colourwork - consider the smaller band of colourwork above the toes a warm up for the main event on the leg! The pattern also includes full detailed instructions on how to work a German short row heel along the way but this can easily be substituted for an alternative heel, if you would prefer.
