This pattern is so much fun! Colbert is a large, colorful ragdoll with tons of curly textured hair, knobby knees and a great personality. With a few personalized touches, you can make your doll all your own! He is heavy, floppy and squeezable and will make a joyful presence in any child’s life. What better way to teach our children about love and acceptance than with dolls that have differences; dolls as unique as each of us!

This pattern is written in English and uses US Standard crochet terms. It is an intermediate level pattern and is an amigurumi, which is worked in the round. The doll is built from the feet up, with his limbs crocheted on, and face attached during construction. There are plenty of photos to assist you.

You will need the following:

Hook G (4mm) OR a smaller hook if you crochet loosely,
and H (5mm) (for hair)

Red Heart Super Saver (or similar medium worsted weight yarn)
in the following colors:
Small amounts of Black, Grey, White, Red, Denim Blue, Green, Yellow, Brown, Light Blue, Beige (or skin color of choice),

At least 1 - 1.5 (364yd) (198g) Skeins Orange, (or hair color of choice) (More or less depending on the curl method you choose)

12mm Safety Eyes (Or size that suits your doll’s personality)
(or crochet the eyes)

Black/Brown yarn and/or embroidery thread for facial details, Sewing needle, Scissors, Polyfill Stuffing, Stitch Marker,2 small buttons

Optional: Glasses
