This curly scarf/cowl was designed to match the Curly hat, so it is a crocheted version of Annás’s lovely knitted Curly scarf.

This pattern allows you to make a scarf/cowl with curls, while changing the width of the scarf/cowl to your liking.
So first you should imagine, what kind of scarf or cowl you want to crochet. How wide and how long should it be, where should it be wider, where thinner. You may play with the width, it can change many-many times!
Then you crochet according to the pattern.
