This sock pattern came from a series of failed attempts at using this cable, which is why I had decided it was cursed. It turns out that the cable wasn’t really cursed since it works so well in this pattern, but I decided it would be a fun pattern name. I also wanted a pattern that would work well with self-striping yarn because there just aren’t enough of those available. As you can see from the pictures, it works with solid and self-striping very well.
