I wanted an alternate horn to use on the Viking Helmet by Safiya Ali and the Inner Beast by Sharon Maher, but couldn’t find a pattern for the shape I had in mind, so I made my own.

These are made using a 5mm (h) hook and any worsted weight yarn.
They do not use a lot of yarn. Each finished horn is about 5.5” long and should curve and twist slightly like a stretched out spring.
It is worked in the round with basic stitches, single crochet, increase and decrease.
