This pattern is written for fashion dolls such as Barbie. It was created for my first grand-daughter. I wanted to document how I made the outfits, so she could knit them for her grand-daughter. I’ve included instruction for ALL of Barbie’s New and Existing body styles: Petite, Tall, Classic and Curvy.

What I love about knitting projects like this, is the practicality and many uses. It’s portable knitting on the go - I can knit on my lunch break, while I’m on the bus, waiting for an appointment, AND I get to be the most spontaneous gift giver to all the little people in my life. It makes a great stocking stuffer, birthday party favour, get-well gift, and just-because-I-love-you gift. My toy box is well stocked for when the grand kids come to visit, with well-made toys that are special. The best part - it uses leftover yarns from past sock projects.

It requires fingering weight yarn or sock yarn and a set of US 1 (2.50mm) double pointed needles.

It knits up quickly in “the round” on double pointed needles so there’s no swatching, seaming or sewing. Knit it once, if it could be slightly bigger or smaller, knit it a second time using smaller or larger needles.

This is a row by row pattern, no charts.

hope to see you there:)
