Curvy Cables Vest
Perfect summer top? Or beautiful transition garment? This vest top does summer and autumn equally well.
I’m always looking for the perfect summer top – a little bit of shaping, a cool silvery colour and a few little sweet details to make it special. I fell in love with the ‘Hugs & Kisses’ cable, running up the side seams of the top, then added a few other sweet details – a vented hem and some cabled i-cord detailing.
Knit in the round from the bottom up, the side seam cables add interest to the otherwise plain stocking stitch sections. The Curvy Cables pattern is then knitted flat from the armholes. Applied i-cord finishings are then applied to the armholes and neck for a neat finished edge.
